Dodgers Announce Multi-Year Partnership With Prediction Market Kalshi

The Los Angeles Dodgers are entering the prediction-market space through a new multi-year partnership with Kalshi.

The organization announced Tuesday that Kalshi will become the Official and Exclusive Prediction Market Partner of the Dodgers, bringing the company's branding, fan promotions and on-site activations to Dodger Stadium.

The agreement represents more than a traditional signage sponsorship.

As part of the partnership, Kalshi will receive naming rights to the Gold Glove Bar at Dodger Stadium. The space will now be known as the Kalshi 435 Club, a reference to the approximate distance a home run would need to travel to reach the club's front door.

Kalshi branding will also appear on LED signage throughout Dodger Stadium, while fans will have access to Dodgers-specific offers through the Kalshi app and special activations in Centerfield Plaza during the season.

The financial terms of the partnership were not disclosed in the Dodgers' announcement.

What Is Kalshi?

Kalshi operates what is known as a prediction market.

Rather than functioning exactly like a traditional sportsbook, the platform allows users to buy and sell event contracts based on whether a particular outcome will occur. Those markets can cover sports as well as other real-world events.

Kalshi operates as a federally regulated exchange overseen by the Commodity Futures Trading Commission. CFTC records identify KalshiEX LLC as a designated contract market.

That distinction is important when describing the Dodgers' new partner.

Prediction markets have expanded rapidly into sports, but their legal status has also generated controversy. Reuters reported Tuesday that Kalshi has faced challenges in several states over whether sports-related event contracts should be treated as gambling products subject to state regulation.

The Dodgers' official announcement describes Kalshi as a federally regulated exchange that allows users to make predictions and trade contracts with other participants based on real-world events.

Dodgers Are One of Five MLB Teams Partnering With Kalshi

Los Angeles is not entering this space alone.

Kalshi announced multi-year partnerships Tuesday with five Major League Baseball franchises:

  • Los Angeles Dodgers

  • Atlanta Braves

  • Boston Red Sox

  • San Diego Padres

  • San Francisco Giants

The agreements include various combinations of stadium branding, online promotions, radio advertising and fan-focused activations.

The Dodgers' arrangement appears particularly visible because of the renamed Kalshi 435 Club and the company's planned presence around Dodger Stadium.

Kalshi said baseball activity on its platform has increased sharply over the past year, reporting that baseball-related trading volume has grown 36-fold year over year. That figure comes directly from the company and has not been independently verified.

Dodgers Say Partnership Is About Fan Engagement

Los Angeles framed the agreement as another way to create interactive experiences for fans.

Dodgers senior vice president of global partnerships Lorenzo Sciarrino said the organization is continually looking for new ways to connect with its audience and described prediction markets as a new category for the franchise.

Kalshi head of sports partnerships Adam Barrick similarly pointed to the Dodgers' importance within Southern California and the opportunity to connect the team's fan base with prediction markets.

For fans attending games, the most noticeable changes will likely be the Kalshi signage and the newly branded club inside Dodger Stadium.

The partnership also gives Kalshi a direct connection to one of the most visible franchises in American sports at a time when prediction-market companies are aggressively expanding their presence around professional leagues and teams.

This Is Not Yet an MLB-Wide Kalshi Agreement

Another distinction is important.

This announcement does not mean Major League Baseball as a league has entered a league-wide partnership with Kalshi.

Reuters reported Tuesday that Kalshi remains in discussions with MLB about a separate league-level agreement. The agreements announced Tuesday involve the five individual clubs.

That means the Dodgers independently have Kalshi as their official and exclusive prediction-market partner even though a broader MLB-Kalshi agreement has not been announced.

The difference matters because team sponsorships and league-wide commercial agreements can provide different marketing rights and levels of access.

Prediction Markets Continue Moving Deeper Into Sports

The Dodgers partnership is also part of a larger shift in the sports business landscape.

Prediction markets have become increasingly visible around sporting events, creating another category alongside traditional sportsbooks and daily fantasy companies competing for sports fans' attention.

The Dodgers already have experience partnering with companies in adjacent industries. In 2025, for example, the organization announced PrizePicks as its official daily fantasy sports partner.

Kalshi represents a different type of product, but its arrival adds another interactive sports platform to the Dodgers' growing portfolio of commercial partnerships.

It also arrives as regulators, courts and sports organizations continue wrestling with how prediction markets should fit within the existing sports gaming landscape.

Because of that ongoing debate, the Kalshi partnership may attract considerably more attention than a typical stadium sponsorship.

What Dodgers Fans Will Notice

For the average fan, the agreement will initially be most visible inside Dodger Stadium.

Expect to see Kalshi branding on stadium LED boards, promotions connected to the app and activations in Centerfield Plaza.

The former Gold Glove Bar will also carry its new Kalshi 435 Club name as part of the multi-year agreement.

Fans may also encounter Dodgers-specific offers through Kalshi's platform.

Exactly how the partnership develops beyond those elements remains to be seen, particularly as Kalshi continues expanding its relationships throughout Major League Baseball.

What is already official, however, is that the Dodgers have become one of the first MLB franchises to formally align themselves with the prediction-market company.

The Dodgers and Kalshi are now multi-year partners, giving the prediction-market platform a prominent presence at Dodger Stadium and adding another emerging sports-business category to one of baseball's biggest brands.
